Currently, Daniel Klein specializes in producing images with the Apple iPhone – first with the 3G and now with the amazing iPhone X - with minimal manipulation and all done right in the phone.
Daniel studied photography at the Kansas City Art Institute. Subsequently, he owned his own advertising photography studio for ten years, specializing in food and product photography, and for six years was one of Hallmark Cards’ top independent contractors at Hallmark’s Kansas City studio. As an award-winning photographer, Daniel was also on the board of directors of the American Society of Magazine Photographers, Midwest. In addition to photography, Daniel is a multiple award-winning writer of short fiction and offers an extensive background in Communication Arts.
His education has included the prestigious Iowa Writer’s Workshop at the University of Iowa and is a veteran of self-publishing with his short story collection, Pool of Souls and Other Stories.
After his first successful career in photography, Daniel turned his talents toward digital imaging, interactive media, film, and video. Now returning to photography, Daniel Klein brings his accumulated skills to the very limited iPhone built-in camera, creating images that are immediate, compelling, and fulfilling. His plans are to marry iPhone Images with prose to create a complete experience for the viewer.
